Grass-guard products come in a variety of styles and materials, from concrete to 100% recycled plastic. Laying of these products usually requires a free-draining hardcore base, overlain with compacted sand, the product and a sand/soil mix with grass seed overlain. These products can also be in-filled with gravel, giving a much easier surface to walk on or push things over, the gravel does not move or get stuck in vehicle tyres, and will always look perfect without the usual wear and tear associated with loose gravel drives.
